Avengers: Infinity War promises to bring out one of the MCU’s most action-packed installments yet, but filming the movie was actually a chill ordeal. Just ask Sebastian Stan, AKA: the Winter Soldier.

The actor recently chatted with Collider about his upcoming films, and it was there Stan touched upon Avengers: Infinity War. The film, which wrapped earlier this summer, will see the actor reprise his role as Bucky Barnes. And, according to Stan, the set for the third Avengers flick was downright mellow.

“It’s actually kind of loose and relaxed, at least when I was around,” Stan started. “I had fun. You’re always like ‘oh, so and so walked by me’ – it’s always a little bit like a double take. But generally I just think everyone’s just having a good time.”

The actor also took a moment to compliment director Joe and Anthony Russo as the pair made sure Avengers: Infinity War felt low-key.

“The Russos are leading that ship – they’re very cool, they know what they want, everything’s prepared, nothing’s ever really anxious,” Stan explained. “It’s all very smooth”.

There’s little doubt Stan has become accustomed to how the Russo Brothers run a set. After all, the actor has gotten to work with the duo a fair bit. Stan reprised his role as Bucky Barnes in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the first MCU title helmed by the director duo. The pair then oversaw Captain America: Civil War, and the Russo Brothers are also in charge of Avengers 3 and 4. By the final film’s premiere, Stan will have starred in four of the pair’s films, so the actor will be plenty familiar with their style.
