30 years ago, DC Comics' published Crisis on Infinite Earths, a companywide crossover event that successfully simplified its continuity, which had become problematic. Could such a crossover event be used for DC's television and film universes? Probably not, but it isn't out of the realm of possibility.
Just imagine the cinematic universe with Affleck's Batman, Cavill's Superman, Gadot's Wonder Woman, Miller's The Flash and Momoa's Aquaman coming into contact with Benoist's Supergirl, Amell's Green Arrow and Gustin's The Flash. Welp, Reddit user AshsEvilHand has, and he has created a piece of fan-art that depicts what a Crisis on Infinite Earths would look like.
