RJ Cyler Cast as the Blue Ranger in New Power Rangers Film

The team for the 2017 Power Rangers film continues to build, this time adding the Blue Ranger to the roster. They once again revealed the casting over social media, with RJ Cyler (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl) joining the cast and ready to don some blue threads.
The casting follows Ludi Lin being cast as the Black Ranger on Thursday, Dacre Montgomery cast as the Red Ranger, and Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger. That leaves only yellow of the original, primary team members to be filled.
The Power Rangers film hits in 2017, rebooting the franchise for a new generation, but following the general idea - teens infused with power to combat monsters. Dean Israelite will direct.
