Both One Piece and One Punch Man have become two of the most popular animated series’ in the world, with One Punch Man being only one season in and One Piece celebrating its 20th year. As a result, One Punch Man creator has taken a liking a number of anime over the years, with One Piece and Dragon Ball Super being two of his favourites.

In the past Yusuke Murata, the man behind the One Punch Man franchise, has drawn a number of other anime characters from competing franchises, as he is a fan of so many. Now most recently Murata has had a shot of drawing the eventual Pirate King in Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece and it looks pretty good. Being a fan of the fellow Shonen series, fans are hopeful that one day there might be a crossover one day.
Since One Punch Man first broke into the scene, the anime ahs become incredibly popular, with Saitama already being said to be stronger than Goku from Dragon Ball Super. Since season one ended, fans have desperately been waiting for season two, with it not being too far away. Many assume that One Punch Man season 2 will either debut late this year or early next year, with fans eagerly hoping that it arrives sooner.
Murata first published his story about Saitama as a web-comic, which instantly went viral and gathered over 10 million hits. In addition, ONE writes and draws the series’ Mob Psycho 100 and Makai no Ossan.
