Black Butler fans, your greatest dream or worst nightmare is about to become a reality. Thanks to Funimation, the live-action Black Butler film is about to make its way to the U.S. Earlier today, the studio confirmed it had licensed the film and will be selling DVDs and Blu-rays of the film come May.

So, if you feel inclined, then now would be a good time to start saving for the buy. The home video will be released come May 2nd and will feature both English and Japanese audio. Of course, the latter will feature subtitles.

As for its English dub, the film will use several voice actors from Funimation’s dub of the Black Butler anime. You can check out the full English dub team below:

For those of you who don’t know about Black Butler‘s live-action history, ComicBook.com has a rundown for you. The live-action film debuted in Japan back in January 2014. The film features an original story which takes place more than 100 years after the anime. Set in a culturally diverse city, a young woman named Shiori disguises herself as a male to become the heir of the Phantomhive family. And, of course, things begin to go haywire when she meets a devilish man named Sebastian.

If you are not familiar with Black Butler, then you should know the popular series ws created back in September 2006 by Toboso. The manga was then adapted into an anime in 2008 and has continued to produce spin-out series over the year. The last Black Butlerr project debuted in 2014 when a two-part OVA hit Japanese theaters.

As for its story, Black Butler is set in Victorian London and focuses on a young boy named Ciel Phantomhive. When the heir turns ten, his parents are brutally murdered and he is kidnapped by a cult. Desperate to live, Ciel escapes the brutes and returns home with a mysterious man named Sebastian at his side. The strange butler turns out to be a demon who Ciel made a contract with during his captivity. In return for Ciel’s soul, Sebastian has sworn to help the boy get revenge against those who destroyed his life, and Ciel learns more about his parents’ murder as he solves crimes around London.
