When you think of iconic anime rivalries, a few people should pop into your mind. Of course, Goku and Vegeta would stand as one of the medium’s most popular couples, but other anime titles would be featured as well. Next month, Naruto Shippuden will find itself replaced after more than a decade on air. The long-running anime will wrap up and make way for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. We as the staff of Naruto refer to Naruto and Sasuke as “legendary characters,” and it’s awesome when they appear in the story, but we are careful to portray Boruto and the next generation as the main characters as we are creating the series.”
