If you are a fans of Mobile Suit Gundam, then you will want to update your Crunchyroll queue as soon as possible. The iconic mecha series is still going strong after years on air, and Iron-Blooded Orphans has impressed scores of fans. Now, audiences will get to experience the newest Gundam title in a whole new way. Thanks to Funimation and Crunchyroll, the first English dub of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans will hit the Internet soon.

Over on Crunchyroll, the anime streaming site made the exciting announcement on its blog. “One more announcement for today – we’re going to be streaming the dubbed version of Mobile Suit GUNDAM Iron Blooded Orphans on Crunchyroll!” the site explained. “Five new episodes will be available every Tuesday at 7:00pm PST starting from 2/28 for all members in United States, Canada, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, South Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa.”
As of right now, the anime will have two seasons needing dubbing. The first season of Iron-Blooded Orphans debuted in Japan back in October 2015. A second season was ordered which rolled out last fall.
Not familiar with Iron-Blooded Orphans? Don’t worry; You will fall for the anime once you’ve previewed its first episode. The series is set more than 300 years after the Calamity War first seen in the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime. With the Earth Sphere falling into anarchy, the world has given way to bandits and rebels. Iron-Blooded Orphans focuses on a young boy named Mikazuki Augus as he works for a security company, and his is used as cannon fodder during an ambush. Augus, along with his friend Orga Itsuka, take the chance to revolt against their demeaning employers – and the determined boy changes his fate when he begins piloting an abandoned mobile suit known as Gundam Barbatos.
To date, Iron-Blooded Orphans stands as one of the series most praised installments. Recently, fans ranked the top anime titles of the franchise, and the newest series ranked first above Gundam SEED and Gundam Wing.
