Masashi Kishimoto has been telling the story of the Hidden Leaf Village for decades, providing some of the biggest moments in the history of shonen series. Now, fans of Naruto, Naruto: Shippuden, and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations are debating with regards to what they consider to be the worst plot points of the story that has focused on the Seventh Hokage and the various villains both himself and his friends have encountered over the years in its anime as well as within the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump.

Currently, the anime and manga stories have diverged from one another, with the television series currently focusing on the Chunin Exams and Kawaki attempting to become a full-fledged ninja within the ranks of the Hidden Leaf Village. In the manga, the Kara Organization is still threatening the ninja world via its new leader, Code, who has an ax to grind with those responsible for the death of his mentor, Jigen. With Boruto: Naruto Next Generations set to continue for the foreseeable future, we expect some more entries into the category of “worst plot points,”
