Earlier this year, Comicbook.com was first to report that our sources close to the production of Iron Man 3 had told us that Ben Kingsley would definitely be playing The Mandarin in Iron Man 3. Now, Marvel Studios has officially confirmed that information at the Marvel Studios Panel at Comic-Con. Comicbook.com's Russ Burlingame is live blogging the Marvel Studios Panel, and he just got through posting the details on the first Iron Man teaser trailer. The action packed clip ends with a shot of none other than Ben Kingsley in full Mandarin costume. After the clip, the Marvel Studios panelists also confirmed that indeed the last image was exactly what it looked like. Ben Kingsley will officially be playing The Mandarin in Iron Man 3. Iron Man 3 is set to be released on May 3, 2013.
