While AMC has yet to make an announcement over if The Walking Dead is returning for a fourth season, it looks like the show has finally been officially renewed. It’s been widely assumed that the highly successful show would be back for a fourth season, but one of the actors on the show revealed back in November that the show hadn’t yet been picked up for season four.
However, Stalwart Films, which is involved in the production of the show, has just confirmed that The Walking Dead will be coming back for a fourth season. According to TheCitizen, Stalwart Films spokesman Mike Riley said, “The Walking Dead will be coming back for a fourth season and will be associated with Senoia’s Raleigh Studios.”
Riley also added that pre-production for The Walking Dead season four would likely begin in March 2013.
