Amazing Spider-Man #700 Ditko Variant Selling For Over $1,200

The Amazing Spider-Man #700 variant covers show no signs of slowing down. A couple days ago Comicbook.com reported that a set of the eight variant covers for Amazing Spider-Man #700 had sold on eBay for over a grand. At the time, the Amazing Spider-Man #700 Steve Ditko variant by itself was also selling for $600. Now, only a couple of days later, an Amazing Spider-Man #700 variant lot of all eight covers has sold for as high as $1,925. Even more amazing is that the Steve Ditko variant cover edition of the Amazing Spider-Man #700 is now regularly selling for over $1,000 by itself. In fact, we saw one copy of the Amazing Spider-Man #700 Steve Ditko variant which had gone for $1,225. Several other copies of the Ditko variant had also either sold for or were currently bid between $1,000 and $1,200. If the price has nearly doubled in only a couple days, then the next questions is how high will the prices climb. Could we see the Amazing Spider-Man #700 variant set hit $3,000 and the Amazing Spider-Man #700 Steve Ditko variant hit $2,000 in the new year?
