Jamie King has reportedly already completed her shooting on Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, although she will later be “digitally inserted” into scenes with other actors. The actress shared the information with MTV News; one wonders whether this might be a common thing for the low-budget, star-studded film which, if it’s anything like its predecessor, will rely heavily on green screen technology. It seems like a perfect fit.”I was the first one to shoot on the very first day. I was like, ‘So who else is going to be in the movie with me because I’m acting to five pieces of tape?’ And they’re like, ‘Oh, they haven’t been cast yet,’” King said. “Literally, five pieces of tape and someone’s hand. They’re like, ‘This is the other actor.”That didn’t make it a bad experience for King, though. “You just roll with it with Robert Rodriguez because you can trust him,” she said. “Literally I worked with not one single actor. I worked with literally tape. A roll of tape, and a hand.”The actress, who played Goldie in the first film, teased that she will play both Goldie and her twin sister in the new film, suggesting that not only will Goldie be alive but “You get to see two of me at the same time.”Sin City: A Dame to Kill For also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Dennis Haysbert, along with a handful of actors returning from the first movie. It will be directed by Frank Miller, whose graphic novels it is based on, and Robert Rodriguez. The film is due in theaters on October 3.
