Iron Man 3 Doing Re-Shoots, Big Finale Revealed

With less than four months to go before Iron Man 3 is released in theaters, some of the stars of the film are heading back in for re-shoots. In an interview with Collider, Don Cheadle revealed that he would be doing re-shoots next week in Manhattan Beach. Despite the re-shoots and some production delays caused by Robert Downey Jr.'s injury last year, Don Cheadle expressed a high level of optimism for Iron Man 3. When asked about the sky high expectations for the film, Cheadle said,"I hope that it performs to those levels.  We did a little piece of it at Comic-Con and people went crazy.  It looked great.  The script is good." In regards to his character changing from the War Machine armor to the Iron Patriot armor, Cheadle didn't give up any spoilers, saying people could react when they see it. However, Don Cheadle did drop one huge spoiler. In regards to his character, Cheadle said, "'I'm not supposed to say that he kills Robert Downey Jr.'s character.  Is that a spoiler?  That would be a spoiler.  You knew that was coming.  You read the comic books.  No.  I will just say that the buddy relationship that these guys have gets tighter.  The third act set piece for the big finale is bigger and badder.  It's just a lot more." No, the big spoiler isn't that Don Cheadle's character kills Robert Downey Jr.'s character, as we're pretty sure Cheadle is joking about that. However, Cheadle's reference to a big finale seems to suggest that earlier spoilers about there being some type of big ending battle scene involving Tony Stark controlling multiple pieces of armor could be correct.
