Man Of Steel: Darkseid Connection Revealed?

Could Man of Steel have a Darkseid connection? This information didn't come from a source, and it's pure speculation, but the speculation is rather intriguing. Both set photos and toy photos of Zod have revealed that he will have an unusual emblem on his chest. With Superman wearing a big red "S" on his chest, one might expect Zod to have the letter "Z" on his chest. Instead Zod appears to have some type of upside down and tilted Omega symbol on his chest. Why would Zod be wearing an Omega symbol? Well, there just happens to be another DC Comics villain that is often associated with the Omega symbol. Yes, we're talking about Darkseid. While we might at first be tempted to write this off as pure coincidence, Darkseid is rumored to be the villain in the upcoming but unannounced Justice League movie. Could Zod be working for Darkseid? Could Warner Bros. be setting up an after the credits scene appearance for Darkseid just like the Avengers movie did with Thanos? Of course, the symbol could just be some type of Kryptonian symbol or have some other meaning, but it's certainly unusual it looks so much like an Omega symbol. The Man of Steel movie is set to be released in theaters on June 14, 2013.
