William Shatner calls J.J. Abrams a pig

Do you think William Shatner is upset about J.J. Abrams not including him in his Star Trek movies? Instead of the typical "I'm really happy for him" Hollywood response, William Shatner actually spoke his mind when asked by Movie Fanatic if he felt it was ok for J.J. Abrams to take on the Star Wars franchise as well as the Star Trek franchise. William Shatner said, "No, he's being a pig." Shatner continued, "I mean he's collecting the two franchises and holding them close to his vest. And he's probably the most talented director of that ilk we have. But, he's gone too far this time." William Shatner also revealed that while he thought of J.J. Abrams as a buddy of his, it was time for him and J.J. to have another sushi meal so that Shatner could put him straight about two of the largest franchises. Shatner feels J.J. Abrams is being foolhardy by not employing him in either one of them. William Shatner delivers his response so straightforward, it's difficult to tell if he's just joking or if he's really seriously upset about the situation.
