The Walking Dead: Who Is Roy Stark?

With all the deaths in season 3 of The Walking Dead, producers are looking to expand the cast in season 4. As appears to have been first spotted by SpoilerTV, the Walking Dead has put out a casting call for a new character called Roy Stark. In the casting call, Roy Stark is described as being in his his early thirties to mid forties. Roy Stark is also described as a former army medic, who is a bit of a loner. He's deeply haunted by his past (both before and after the crisis). He is also described as having a charming, self-deprecating-but-confident public face, despite how troubled he is. Roy Stark is being cast as series regular, so it's not for a cameo appearance. While there is not a Roy Stark in The Walking Dead comic books, it's always possible that the show is using a code name and fake description so as to not spoil who the character is. The start date for the role is listed as May 6, 2013, so it looks like this new character will likely be playing a part right from the beginning of season 4.
