The Walking Dead's Visual Effects Team Shows Off Their Secrets

In a newly-released, three-minute video, the team at Stargate Studios (the ones who do the visual effects for AMC's The Walking Dead) have provided a peek behind the curtain at their process. For everything from elaborate zombie gore to the things you take for granted like the look of the prison exterior, Stargate gives fans a look at how things appear pre- and post-VFX so there's a sense for what they're actually looking at onscreen. While there's no narration to give details on the how, some of it is pretty obvious from just looking at the graphical annotations onscreen--something that will appeal to the "comics in the classroom crowd, as they illustrate the way images are multilingual.
