Veronica Mars Movie Officially Casts Enrico Colantoni

director Rob Thomas just confirmed in an update to backers of the Veronica Mars Kickstarter project that actor Enrico Colantoni has officially signed on to play Keith Mars in the film adaptation of the cult-hit TV series. You can see a video that accompanied the announcement below, ostensibly of Colantoni "getting the call." Below that you can see a video that Colantoni shot of himself speaking directly to the film's fans and backers. "We always wondered if [the movie] was going to happen. For a while there we thought it wasn't going to happen and because of your belief, it is going to happen," Colantoni said. "We always knew that Veronica Mars was a special thing and how awesome is it to know that you guys felt the same way? I can't wait to play Keith Mars again, I can't wait to work with Rob and Kristen again. It's going to be a really great summer."
