Man Of Steel's Henry Cavill Wants Batman & Superman Team-up Movie

While most of the focus of late has been on the possibility of Warner Bros. doing a Justice League movie next after Man Of Steel, it's very possible that Warner Bros. could be heading in a different direction. Instead of a Justice League movie, there's always the possibility that fans might see a Man Of Steel sequel, a Batman reboot, a Wonder Woman movie, or even a World's Finest movie next. Among the fans of the idea of a World's Finest movie is none other than Man Of Steel star Henry Cavill himself. In a new interview with SFX, Henry Cavill said, "I think it would be really interesting with the age-old Batman/Superman conflict, because they are two different sides of the same coin and their methods are entirely different. And I think it would actually make for an interesting story as to why, first of all, they were going head to head and how. I think that would make a great story." However, even though Henry Cavill is all for the idea of the Man Of Steel and the Dark Knight teaming up, he professes to not knowing anything more about Warner Bros. future plans than everybody else knows. In regards to if a World's Finest movie will be next, Henry Cavill said, "Who knows? I'm sure there's all sorts of ideas being thrown around at Warner Bros right now." The Man Of Steel is scheduled to be released in movie theaters in the United States on June 14, 2o13.
