Fantastic Four Director Denies Casting Rumors

director Josh Trank has taken to Twitter to deny rumors that emerged earlier today that The Spectacular Now star Miles Teller would play Reed Richards in the film. "The casting rumor floating around today isn't true.... the end," tweeted Trank--which seems pretty cut and dry. The director's forthrightness about the rumor may also lend some credence to existing rumors that Michael B. Jordan is Trank's first choice to be The Human Torch in the film. Nobody involved with the film has been particularly committal one way or another about those rumors. Fantastic Four is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on March 6, 2015.
