Lando Calrissian

While there have been a lot of casting rumors about Star Wars Episode VII lately, there is one former Star Wars actor, who is taking matters into his own hands. At DragonCon over the weekend, Billy Dee Williams' manager Derek Maki announced a campaign to bring back Lando Calrissian for Star Wars Episode VII. "There's a lot of rumors out there right now about the original cast coming back, and I know it's a burning question," said Maki. "Mark, Carrie, Harrison, and Billy, none of them have signed contracts, so it's all rumors, just so you know." Maki added, "We want you to Facebook, blog, and Twitter that you want to see Lando in the next Star Wars movie, so that J.J. gets ahold of him, because you're going to make it happen. And we have this new thing on Twitter now #BringBackLando, so if you guys are on Twitter #BringBackLando." In regards to returning for Star Wars Episode VII, Billy Dee Williams said, "The right idea actually is to come back with a daughter who's a Jedi, a beautiful daughter who's a Jedi." It's interesting with all the rumors that an announcement will be made imminently about the original cast returning that Maki claimed this weekend that no deals have been signed. In addition to being Billy Dee Williams' manager, Maki is President of Coolwaters Productions, LLC, which lists Harrison Ford as a client.
