Arrow Introduces Barry Allen in New Clip

The CW have released a promotional clip for Wednesday's episode of Arrow,titled "The Scientist." In the clip, a break-in at Queen Consolidated is bringing Team Arrow together with law enforcement from near and far as Oliver, Quentin Lance and the rest of those on the scene meet Central City Police Department CSI Barry Allen. Grant Gustin plays Allen, who is slated to get his own pilot as The Flash in 2014. He was originally scheduled to appear in season two, episode 20 of Arrow, which was to be a backdoor pilot to his series, before The CW got more faith in Flash and wanted to give him a spotlight of his own. Whether Gustin will still appear in episode 20 isn't yet known, and whether he'll have powers by the end of the two-part midseason finale that ends next Wednesday isn't totally clear, either.
