Matt Fraction to Retell Mythology In Ody-C

Image Comics will publish Ody-C, a retelling of The Odyssey from Sex Criminals writer Matt Fraction and artist Christian Ward, they announced today at Image Expo. "It's a lot like comics," Fraction says of Homer's epic. "It's out of order, it requires you to have knowledge of three different stories." Fraction's fractured take is that the story taples place takes place in space, that all the men are women and all the women are men. Fraction calls the series' art "very colorful and surreal," and says he's "just letting Christian be Christian." Expect Ody-C by the end of summer or start of fall 2014.
