As first reported by Conan O'Brien via Twitter,Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will distribute the long-awaited Batman live-action television series (1966-68) as a complete box set later in 2014.

When 20th Century Fox, with whom Warner Bros. has been having a rights dispute over the series for years, announced that 2014 would see the launch of a Gotham TV series, many speculated that it would mean some kind of deal had been reached to release Batman, for which DC Entertainment launched a digital comic book series last year. O'Brien's talk show Conan runs on TBS, an affiliate of Warner Bros.
