Transformers: Age Of Extinction Trailer Is Most Anticipated Super Bowl Movie Ad

While most of the studios planning to air movie trailers during Super Bowl XLVIII have already provided a sneak peek at their films, Paramount Pictures has been extremely secretive about Transformers: Age of Extinction. The Super Bowl will mark the first airing of official footage from Transformers: Age of Extinction. It seems not giving away the trailer before the Super Bowl is paying off for Paramount, as a recent poll by Fandango indicates that the Transformers: Age of Extinction trailer is the most anticipated Super Bowl movie ad by a long shot. According to The Wrap, 48 percent of the voters in a Fandango poll picked Transformers: Age of Extinction as the Super Bowl movie trailer or ad that they were most looking forward to seeing. Comic book movies took the next two spots in the poll. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 finished second with 20 percent of the vote, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier finished third with 17 percent of the vote. Of course, there have already been trailers released for both Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, so there isn't the same level of anticipation as if the first footage was being released. It would be interesting to see where Guardians of the Galaxy would have finished in the poll if rumors had been true of the first trailer for the film debuting during the Super Bowl. Noah and Robocop tied for fourth place with four percent of the vote.
