Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Casts Wonder Woman Pilot's B.J. Britt in Recurring Role

B.J. Britt, best known for roles in One Tree Hill and Being Mary Jane but most recognizable to comic book fans as Willis Parks from 2011's failed Wonder Woman pilot, will play Agent Triplett, an associate of Bill Paxton's John Garrett on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Some time ago, ABC indicated that they would be introducing two new S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents who would recur for the remainder of the year; shortly thereafter, Paxton got one of the parts as an old cohort of Coulson's who shows up looking for help handling a bad situation. His character first appears in the March 4 episode, titled "Tahiti," but it's not clear whether his current-day ally, Triplett, will also appear in that episode or come later. Britt does not appear in the handful of images for the episode that have been published online. Marvel hasn't officially announced Britt yet; it came out in TVLine's spoilers column, but that's as reliable a source for this kind of thing as you're likely to get.
