Stan Lee Cameo

Stan Lee stopped by the Marvel Comics offices to talk to Marvel's Ryan "Agent M" Penagos and revealed that he hasn't heard anything about his cameo in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. When Penagos asked Lee if we'd be seeing a cameo from him in the film, Lee said "Well, if not, you'll hear from me." "I haven't heard about it yet," continued Lee. "See, I think the problem is they're probably figuring a cameo isn't enough, how can we give Stan a supporting role...I'm patient." This is a little strange, since premiere screenings for Captain America: The Winter Soldier are set for as early as next week, with a full theatrical release coming in less than a month. That's not much time for any additional filming. It seems strange that Lee wouldn't have a cameo though, since the directors already expressed that they had plans for one in place. Maybe this is a miscommunication? Did Lee mishear Penagos and think he was talking about another movie? Or maybe he has actually filmed the cameo, and just meant that he hasn't seen the final product yet? We'll have to wait and see. Captain America: The Winter Soldier comes to theaters April 4, 2014.
