The Walking Dead Maybe The Ink Spots

During last week's Talking Dead, AMC aired a preview clip for tonight's The Walking Dead. The clip featured a young girl, who appeared to be Lizzie, playing a game of tag with a walker. The scene was shown from the perspective of someone looking outside from inside an old house. There was a kettle of water boiling on the stove, and some really creepy music playing in the background. Most viewers might recognize the music as the same music that plays during the intro and credits for the role-playing video game Fallout. The song is actually a song called "Maybe" by The Ink Spots. The Ink Sports were an American vocal group that was popular in the thirties and forties. "Maybe" was written by Allan Flynn and Frank Madden, and the song was first published in 1935. The Ink Spots recorded the song in 1940, and their version of the song reached #2 on the charts. The song probably wasn't as creepy to people back then, as it sounds to people now in the modern age. Here are some of the lyrics from the song: Maybe you'll think of me when you are all alone. Maybe the one who is waiting for you. Will prove untrue, then what will you do? Here's a YouTube video of the song.
