Valiant's Archer & Armstrong is headed to Hollywood, according to Ain't It Cool News.

Along with Shadowman and BloodshotArcher & Armstrong makes three Valiant projects in various stages of TV and film development.

"I heard from a VERY reliable source that the script?s been completed, Valiant loves it, and the film is heading into production," AICN wrote, also claiming that the film is "set to adhere pretty close to the recent Fred Van Lente/Clayton Henry run."

For the first 18 issues, writer Fred Van Lente did a commentary track-style series of interviews covering his run on Archer & Armstrong with ComicBook.com. You can see them here.

Back when the series launched, ComicBook.com asked Van Lente to describe what made his run different from the '90s version of the characters. Instead, he mostly explained to us what was the same, and that remark serves as a good synopsis for those who've never read:

"Armstrong is still a hedonistic immortal, Archer still a repressed martial arts master; together they still travel the globe getting into strange and stranger adventures while being pursued by the sinister Sect, a sort of United Nations of all the world?s secret societies," Van Lente said. "We?ve tried to focus the 'high concept' to focus on the idea of the duo being conspiracy busters -- so expect the Freemasons, the Vatican, Nazis and aliens to feature prominently -- and added and tweaked a few more elements I?m loathe to give away here, but there?s plenty long-timers will enjoy recognizing, but not to the point where newcomers will feel alienated."
