SDCC: Mockingbird In Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2

At the Marvel Studios television panel held today at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con International, Marvel Studios announced that Mockingbird will appear in Season 2 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The announcement was made in a prerecorded message by Agent Koenig, again played by Patton Oswalt, who said that if Director Coulson needs Mockingbird, she's ready.

Mockingbird is a longtime Avenger, and a notable member of the West Coast Avengers. She was a love interest and, eventually, wife of Hawkeye, which makes you wonder if we'll be seeing those two on screen together at some point.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 premieres September 22 on ABC.
