In 45 seconds, The CW have managed to cram a number of little Easter eggs into the latest promo spot for The Flash, which debuts October 7.

The biggest and most obvious? A billboard featuring the logo of Palmer Techologies, which boasts that "bigger isn't always better," and has a stylized depiction of an atom.

Of course, Ray Palmer -- who will begin to appear on ArrowThe Flash's sister series, in October -- is better known to fans as the superhero called The Atom, who has the ability to shrink. He'll be played by Brandon Routh of Superman Returns fame and will serve as a rival of Oliver Queen's both in the boardroom and when vying for Felicity's attention.

You can check it out below. Pay particular attention to the sheriff's crossword answers.

Get ready to go supersonic. Don't miss The Flash series premiere Tuesday, October 7 at 8/7c!

ABOUT THE FLASH
After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only "meta-human" who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion – and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won't be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become...The Flash.
