One of the many benefits of the Ultimate Cut of Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is that Amy Adams get more screen-time, and in turn, that means more of Lois Lane, especially additional scenes fleshing out the Nairomi, Africa sequence and expanded her investigation into the specially designed bullet that she found lodged in her notebook.

While promoting Arrival, Fox 5’s entertainment reporter, Kevin McCarthy, asked Adams if she has seen the Ultimate Cut yet. “No, no, no. I shot that version, so I’m familiar. I know it, yeah.”

Since what was left out is still fresh in her memory bank, she was asked to share her opinion on the two versions. “Well I always like when you put more Lois in โ€” just selfishly,” she offered. “I think she had a really great storyline, but I get it; you’re dealing with run-time and theaters and all that, so I never take it personally. Lois has such a wonderful sort of history of being active. So, I like it when we get to see that.”

McCarthy wrapped up the interview by asking if Adams has finished filming Justice League. “Yeah, yeah, yeah,” the 42-year-old actress replied.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film features Oscar-winner Ben Affleck (Argo) as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill (The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) as Superman/Clark Kent and also stars Oscar nominees Amy Adams (American Hustle, Man of Steel) as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) as Lex Luthor, Diane Lane (Unfaithful, Man of Steel) as Martha Kent, and Laurence Fishburne (What’s Love Got to Do with It, Man of Steel) as Perry White; Oscar winners Jeremy Irons (Reversal of Fortune) as Alfred, and Holly Hunter (The Piano) as Senator Finch; and Gal Gadot (the Fast and Furious films) as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince.
