and Guardians of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan and Batman artist Greg Capullo will appear at a number of upcoming Wizard World conventions in 2014, convention organizers announced today.Karen Gillan appeared in Series 5-7 of Doctor Who, beginning in 2010, as Amy Pond, the new companion to the eleventh Doctor Matt Smith. She will appear at shows in Philadelphia (June 19-22), Chicago (Aug. 21-24) and Austin (Oct. 2-4).The Inverness, Scotland, native has added numerous theater roles, starred in the film Not Another Happy Ending last year, is a regular on Adult Swim’s NTSF:SD:SUV and portrays the mercenary Nebula in the upcoming James Gunn/Marvel Studios film, Guardians of the Galaxy.
