There is a lot riding on the success of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, so it wouldn’t surprise anyone if scenes were still being tinkered with all the way up until its release. However, director Zack Snyder believes the film is nearly complete except for .01%.

“We’re pretty much done,” Snyder told the Hall of Justice podcast. “I mean there are a few things, a few 3D shots coming in that we are approving and things like that. I’d say the movie is 90%, 99.9% done. And really at this point we’re just fine tuning the final details while we get Justice League ready.”

Listen to Snyder comments, starting at the 4:30 mark, in the audio player below.

In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25, 2016.
