Some new details concerning Wonder Woman’s costume in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice have surfaced in a new report from JoBlo. The report directly contradicts previous rumors that Wonder Woman’s appearance would be modelled off of her “urban” look from the “Odyssey” storyline that ran just prior to the New 52 reboot. Instead, the report’s source describes Wonder Woman’s look as a “badass Amazon warrior princess” who wears a costume that is a “sleeker,” “battle ready” version of her tradition comic book look:
She’ll have a blue leather skirt, silver-armored cuffs that reach to her elbows, golden tiara (with a design of some sort in the center, possibly the red star) and a variation of the traditional-looking red top (no word on additional armor on it). Her overall appearance is described as “Amazon warrior princess” and definitely not an urban reimagining. She’s there to kick ass and that’s readily apparent.
The report claims that Warner Bros. has received very positive feedback from those that have seen the costume design. If things are going that well, could a Comic-Con reveal be in the works?
