‘s Amy Adams, Guardians of the Galaxy co-stars Glenn Close and Bradley Cooper and The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘s Sally Field, Jamie Foxx, Andrew Garfield will present at the Academy Awards next month, alongside comedy legend Bill Murray, presenting for the first time in his decades-long career.They’ll be joined by a number of other comic book movie stars, including Kick-Ass 2‘s Jim Carrey, The Dark Knight Rises‘s Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anne Hathaway, Thor: The Dark World‘s Chris Hemsworth, Marvel cinematic universe lynchpin Samuel L. Jackson, X-Men: Days of Future Past‘s Jennifer Lawrence and Michael B. Jordan, the controversial star of the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. Ironically, Kerry Washington–the African-American actress who played the traditionally-white Alicia Masters in Fantastic 4 and Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, will also present. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the producers said that Garfield would be part of an emotional moment in the show. In January, they said that the theme of this year’s show would be a celebration of movie heroes, so it’s arguably not surprising to see so many superheroes here.
