Carrie Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, made an appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She played junior controller Kaydel Ko Connix. She was easy to spot with her hair up in two buns like her mother wore hers in the original Star Wars (1977). She only appeared in the command room of the Resistance’s base on the planet D’Qar and had one line of dialogue (“General, are you seeing this?”) โ a question to General Leia (Fisher).
On Saturday, while promoting Scream Queens at Paleyfest, Lourd revealed that she will appear in Episode VIII. “I am working on Star Wars VIII but that’s all I can say,” she said.

Will she have a larger role? “Oh yeah, yeah,” Lourd told Slash Film. “The last one was a little Where’s Waldo-y.” Could that mean more scenes with her mom? “Maaaaaybe,” she teased.
Rey took her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will continue her epic journey with Finn, Poe, and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the continuing Star Wars saga, Star Wars: Episode VIII.
Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is written and directed by Rian Johnson and continues the storylines introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, welcomes back cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis.
