“Part 10” of Bloodline begins with a voiceover from John (Kyle Chandler) saying, “I’m almost at the end of the story now, and then, I put my fate in your hands.” A similar scene from the same flashbacks that were in previous episodes shows John trudging through the rain and mud with Danny’s body. The voiceover continues. He says in the voiceover that he doesn’t know where Danny is now but that he hopes he’s okay.

Then the episode cuts back to the present, where John โ€“ having realized that Danny is making big money somehow โ€“ is questioning Eric (Jamie McShane) at the station. Eric refuses to say anything, but two empty gasoline containers are found in his truck. John and Marco (Enrique Murciano) re-watch the surveillance footage of the gasoline they’ve connected to the burned bodies being stolen and determine the culprit to be Eric.

Eric goes straight to Danny to tell him about what happened, saying that he thinks John is really “coming for him” this time. Later at the station, the DEA explains that they’re growing closer to caching Wayne Lowry, now that they’ve identified Rafi and Eric. They’re trying to identify a fourth involved male, who we know to be Danny. John still hasn’t admitted anything about him to anyone he works with.

Meg (Linda Cardellini) confides in Marco at lunch that she’s getting sick of her family’s many secrets and that she’s considering moving to New York โ€“ to take the job that was pseudo-offered to her by ex-lover Alex’s co-worker. Marco wonders why she hadn’t told her about the job earlier, and she admits she had an affair while they were engaged. He calmly leaves money for the bill and leaves without saying a word.

Any suspicions that John has about Danny’s involvement in the cocaine case are confirmed, when a conversation between Rafi and Danny over their cell phones is recorded and played back to him. The DEA officer wants to know if the voice on the phone is Eric, but of course, John can tell that it’s his brother.

Later, Danny and Chelsea (Chloรซ Sevigny) meet with her mother, who’s estranged from Eric. She doesn’t have much nice to say to Danny, especially not about his living mother nor his dead father. Days later, he tries to give Chelsea’s mother some rent money, which Chelsea won’t accept. She tells Danny that she can’t be involved with someone who’s heading for trouble.ย

Meg visits Carlos before one of his AA meetings, making it clear that she can tell that he and Danny are up to something. She figures that whomever Danny is associated with helped Carlos (Eliezer Castro) win the case, by talking down the one witness that was in their way. Of course, Carlos doesn’t admit anything, heading into the meeting.

That night, John and Diana (Jacinda Barrett) tell their kids that they’re not allowed to see Danny anymore, after he realizing he’s been hanging out with them quite a bit. The kids are annoyed and an argument ensues, but John puts his foot down and ends the debate.ย

Kevin later falls asleep on the couch and has a nightmare about being attacked again. He asks John in the morning if there have been any leads about his attacker, and John suggests that it might’ve been a random situation and definitely wasn’t Nick Widmar. Kevin’s supremely disappointed in John and seems genuinely frightened.

And then, Sally approaches John and Diana, furious that they’ve told the kids to stay away from Danny. John tries to tell her that Danny’s into something too deep but won’t give her specifics. Sally thinks they are getting in the way of Danny “turning his life around,” and adds that, if she has to, she will “choose sides.”

John tries to tell Sally about what Danny is up to a few days later. But when he sits down with her, she reveals that she had sent Danny to take Sarah out on the boat on the day that Sarah died, so that she would be able to run away and leave Robert. She blames herself for Danny’s failures and is proud to see that he’s finally “getting his life together.” John can’t bring himself to tell her the truth.

Not knowing what else to do โ€“ John goes straight to Danny to tell him that he’s about to get caught. Danny denies, but when John tells him that Wayne Lowry isn’t just dealing drugs and shows him the pictures of the burned girls, Danny has nothing to say. John offers some degree of protection if Danny comes clean, and then he leaves.

Danny meets with Rafi (Gino Vento), planning to continue with the work. He asks Rafi if they are involved in any other work, pretending he’d like to help out. Rafi says that they used to deal people but do not anymore because of trouble in the past. In a quick flashback, Rafi reluctantly blows up the boat John has been investigating at Wayne’s command.

Meg tells Sally that she’s changed her mind and does not want to split the property ownership with Danny. She sees Carlos pushing a cart of fish outside and follows him, watching him unload the cargo in the shed.ย

Just as the DEA is physically following Rafi after his latest pickup, Danny enters John’s office and says he’s ready to talk. John says he can cut a deal for him but only if Danny tells him literally everything he knows. As Danny starts to tell John the entire story, the DEA surrounds Rafi’s car. Or at least โ€“ the car they think has Rafi in it.

Danny gets to the point in the story where he sought out Lowry himself and offered him a proposition. Before he can tell John what that was, John gets a phone call from the DEA. Rafi paid a stranger to drive his car away. Then, Lowry is shown walking down a pier with Rafi, who has luggage in hand. Rafi says, “I really own Rayburn for this one.”

On the phone, the DEA agent tells John that they’ve been played; someone had to have tipped Rafi that they were about to catch him. John returns to Danny, and it’s clear that they both know exactly what’s going on. Danny stops sharing his story with John, saying he doesn’t have to, because they’ll never find Rafi. Meanwhile, Lowry puts Rafi on a boat with another man โ€“ who stabs Rafi to death.

John can’t believe that Danny thinks he’s going to get away with everything. Danny points out that John would never do that, because if he did, he would be taking the whole family down. Danny says, “I’ll call the shots now,” and John replies, “We’ll see about that.”

Back at the hotel, Meg is shown looking through the window of the shed.
