The latest box office figures indicate Jurassic World and Inside Out are neck and neck for the top spot. On Friday, analysts had Jurassic World with a narrow lead and on Saturday, Inside Out took the lead, but now it appears the dino-flick will eek out a win. Jurassic World is expected to finish the weekend with $30.9M and Inside Out will come in second with $30.1M.

Meanwhile, Terminator Genisys may have had the most unusual start. It’ll come in third at the domestic box office with a 3-day total of $27.8M and 5-day total of $43.2M. Not good. But, internationally the film is a hit. It pulled in $74M overseas this weekend and analysts estimate it could reach $300M-$400M overseas.

Two more Terminator sequels are already scheduled (May 19, 2017 and June 29, 2018), but what do you do when Americans don’t want any more Terminator films like Genisys yet international audiences do?

Then there is Magic Mike XXL, a film that is proving to be the ultimate chick-flick as 96% of the audience was female. Guys just didn’t want to show up and see Channing Tatum strip. What gives, guys?! It’ll end up in fourth place for the weekend with $12M and a 5-day bow of $27.07M.
