Captain America: The Winter Soldier Directors “Want to Do [Brubaker] Justice”

In a new interview with USA Today, Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors Joe and Anthony Russo discussed the comic books that inspired the film, and released a pair of new images giving fans their first really good look at the new Captain America costume in action.”[The Winter Soldier is] an amazingly drawn character. He’s so well conceived,” Anthony Russo told the newspaper. “[Ed Brubaker has] one of the best comic runs in the last 20 years, one of our favorite comic runs of all time & we really want to do it justice. It was important to us to make sure he just jumped off the page to the screen.”Captain America: The Winter Soldier is due in theaters on April 4, 2014. A trailer is expected this week.
