While appearing on Live With Kelly and Michael this morning, Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Carrie Fisher (When Harry Met Sally) was asked if she wore anything underneath her Princess Leia costume.

“I wear a kilt,” Fisher answered without a hint of humor. “And under the kilt I don’t wear anything.” Strahan excitedly jumped in, “Really?” Fisher quickly replied, “No, I’m totally lying.”
With jokes aside, Fisher finally dished the truth. “I didn’t wear underwear because it would’ve shown through and that would’ve looked silly — ‘I got my lingerie on so now we can get the dark side.’ See how that goes. And I had masking tape (points to chest) to cover the sisters.” She added, “Gravity is good for breasts, I hear. And so it wasn’t good for mine.”
The film stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk are producing with Tommy Harper and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Lawrence Kasdan & J.J. Abrams and Michael Arndt.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in U.S. theaters on December 18. The Han Solo film will arrive in theaters May 25, 2018.
