When Season two begins, Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) will have contend with some new threats to Hell’s Kitchen as last season’s main antagonist Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), aka The Kinpin, is serving time behind bars. One of the people Daredevil will have a conflict with is cop-turned-vigilante Frank Castle (played by Jon Bernthal), aka The Punisher.

What makes their conflict so complicated is that both vigilantes are on the same mission to clean up the streets. However, The Punisher is more than content with murdering criminals, while Daredevil would rather bring the evildoers in alive to face justice.

“It’s really complicated,” Cox told Empire. “It feels like they’re sworn enemies, but at times it feels like they could be best friends and brothers. In order to find common ground, compromise has to be made.”

Daredevil Season 2 will see Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) testing his skills and ethics as he deals with ruthless vigilante Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) and the mysterious ninja assassin Elektra (Elodie Yung).

Daredevil season 2 arrives on Netflix March 25, 2016.
