Cox is a bit disappointed that his dear friend and handball competitor Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) won’t be playing Spidey. Although, he won’t let that deter his excitement for the possible team up. He even has a friend Spidey-Daredevil comic story arc.

“There is a wonderful episode –ย issue of the comic – where Matt Murdock has to defend Daredevil – cause the public don’t know – so he has Peter Parker put on his Daredevil costume so he can sit in the dock,” Cox told MTV.
Cox is referring to Daredevil Vol. 2, #25 (Dec. 2001), written by Bob Gale.
