Back in May, Variety reported that Chris Pine had been offered the role of Steve Trevor in Warner Brothers’ Wonder Woman solo, which he eventually took. But for a long time, people weren’t sure if that was really the role that he was offered. That’s because in June, Latino Review reported Pine was “closing in on the role of Hal Jordan” in WB’s Green Lantern reboot. Then in July, BirthMoviesDeath claimed that Pine was offered both roles. Now we know Pine was never in play for Green Lantern.
