Even though Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence‘s Passengers got raked over the coals by film critics — receiving a paltry 17% rating from top critics on Rotten Tomatoes — analysts projected the film to gross $55 million over its first six days of release. However, it opened on Wednesday and has struggled so much since then that analysts lowered their projections to $26.1 million. On top of that, those that went to go see it only gave it a ‘B’ CinemaScore, so it won’t receive any word-of-mouth bump.
