Confirmed via tweet by McQuarrie (which could self destruct in 5 seconds), this comes as welcome news for Mission Impossible fans. Considering Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation has made over $680 at the worldwide box office, it was only a matter of time before the next installment was green lit.

The big question now is, who will and won’t return. Obviously, it would be hard to not include Tom Cruise, who has been confirmed. According to a report from Variety, we might also see Rebecca Ferguson return to the role of Ilsa Faust. She apparently has the option to come back, if she wants to, but with so many other options on her plate, it’s still unclear if she will.
So what do you think ComicBook.com readers? Are you ready for McQuarrie and Co. to accept the mission? Let us know in the comments below.
