2012 San Diego Comic-Con tickets went on sale this morning at 8 AM PST, and they quickly sold completely out. The four day badges to Comic-Con were the first to go, followed by single day tickets for Friday and Saturday. In less than an hour and half, even all the other single day tickets were gone.As part of the ticket buying process, fans had to pre-register to get a member ID. Registered members were then e-mailed a special link that allowed them to get into a waiting room line to purchase tickets. From most reports, only those that got into the line within the first 30 minutes or so were able to buy tickets.Comic-Con kicks off in San Diego with a preview night on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Then, the convention runs from Thurday, July 12, 2012 until Sunday, July 15, 2012. Even though the 2012 Comic-Con is officially sold out, there is still a remote hope for fans who missed out. Comic-Con will hold a sale of returned and refunded badges later this year, but we doubt there will be very many of those.[phpbay keywords=”san diego comiccon” num=”9″ siteid=”1″ sortorder=”EndTimeSoonest” freeshipping=”true” templatename=”columns” columns=”3″]
