As theories go, this one’s way out there — it isn’t like Leto isn’t known for being theatrical, after all — but I can sure imagine him telling somebody “You’re my number one guy” in that voice, can’t you?
David Ayer will direct Suicide Squad, which stars Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Boomerang; Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag; and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Viola Davis will play Waller. Ed Harris, Jackie Earle Haley and Joe Manganiello are rumored to appear as well.
Suicide Squad is expected to start shooting this month for a release on August 5, 2016.
