The Dark Knight Rises Fan Film Arkham Rising

The Dark Knight Rises has inspired a lot of parody videos and a lot of fan films. Arkham Rising (via io9.com) is one of the best Dark Knight Rises fan films we’ve seen so far. Arkham Rising presents a possible scenario of how Bane may have freed some of the inmates of Arkham AsylumOne of the great things about the Arkham Rising fan film is that it hints at who several of the inmates of Arkham are in very clever and entertaining ways. The voice of Bane (done by Steve Reeve) is the best copy of Bane’s actual voice from the movie that we’ve ever heard.ย  Of course, our favorite part of Arkham Rising is the appearance of The Joker. Here is a description of Arkham Rising: “Following Batman’s defeat at the hands of the mercenary known as Bane, Gotham City has fallen into chaos. Criminals have been freed to roam the streets. Gotham City is held hostage as not even the National Guard can find a way to release Gotham from its captors.Law enforcement has broken down. The guards at Arkham Asylum, hearing the fate of their counterparts at Black Gate Prison, have abandoned their posts. Only the mentally unstable inmates and those foolish enough to try and engage them remain in Arkham now.Arkham Rising is a fan film meant to answer one of the most asked fan questions at the end of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy and set the stage for a post Dark Knight Rises Gotham. This fan film was created by fans as a tribute to what has been referred to as one of the greatest trilogies in movie history.”Arkham Rising was written and directed by Tito Guillen and was produced by Toddske. The soundtrack is far better than what you would expect in a fan film and is actually original. It’s done by composer Jerel Northern.
