During an interview released today in support of A Good Day to Die Hard, franchise star Bruce Willis said that, basically, he was happy to be back in Austin for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, but that he couldn’t say much about the film itself.”I worked a few days on it; it’s fantastic working with Jessica Alba and Robert Rodriguez again and his whole crew,” Willis said, telling Collider that he had to sign a confidentiality agreement not to give away the story of the film.Willis, who plays Hartigan in the series, is rumored to be a major part in the new material being created for the film (which may or may not end up as a new Sin City graphic novel as well). Given the fidelity to the source material in the first film, it’s unlikely major changes will be made to the comics being adapted, and so Willis’s gag order is probably to protect the new material. Alba had already previously stated she was working with Willis in the sequel.Hartigan was the star of That Yellow Bastard and played a major role in the first film adaptation of the Frank Miller noir series. In the same interview, Willis also lamented having killed Hans Gruber in the first Die Hard, saying that he was one of the best villains in movie history, and told Collider that he wants to work with Luc Besson (his director on The Fifth Element) anytime, anyplace. That’s a sequel I’d pay to see…!
